To Dream of a Highlander

To Dream of a Highlander - Samantha Holt I like both characters a lot, more than I did Alana and Morgann in the first book. The story is sweet and reads well. But there isn't much else to it. It doesn't deserve 4 stars even though I did enjoy reading the book. It has what I like in my lead characters. But as a book it really isn't that outstanding.
If you have a few hours to kill and do not want to invest too much in a book, this is it. It still reads a lot better than some books with raving reviews out there.
I am not sure I want to read the third book, which is Lorna's story. I don't care much for overly independent heroins and heros who do not remember who they are.
