Lord of Devil Isle

Lord of Devil Isle - Connie Mason The book started out really promising. Nicolas is delicious. But the book has one major failing: poor plots. The story jumps around and has very little substance. Most of the time I didn't know where the story was going. Irrelevant bits and pieces put together, there, you have this book.

I actually liked Nicolas and Eve together, but they were not blessed with a strong story so their characters suffered. Eve's waiting for Nicolas to propose also got on my nerves. Guy won't marry you and you won't be his mistress so walk away already. Either stay without false hopes or go, staying out and hoping desperately for a marriage proposal is pathetic. I didn't appreciate that.
