THe book is not awful but takes too long to get to the point for me. I couldn't bring myself to care about either lead character and that made the read rather difficult. I have been reading a lot of Highland romances though. If I ever read this book again at a later time when I am not so burned out on the typical Highland stories, I might rate it differently.
