Rendezvous

Rendezvous - Amanda Quick I read this book many years ago and remember the book vaguely. The writing is typical Quick. She takes you on a journey and all you do as a reader is to tag along. I enjoy reading Quick for this particular reason.
But this book features the type of heroin that I absolutely cannot abide. It's a typical (unfortunately) Quick kind of a heroin. She writes 2 types of heroics. One I love and the other I hate. Augusta in this book belongs to the latter. She is impulsive, emotional, childish, driven by blind loyalty and foolish pride and is way too desperate for "love" for my taste. Ok he doesn't love you. Must you throw a fit???
And for that I am giving the book 3 stars. I am being generous. Augusta really screwed up the book for me.
