The Duchess War

The Duchess War - Courtney Milan It's one of those books that give you mixed feelings.....it's on the way to being good but well not so much.....I do not like the heroine. I just do not care for a heroin who is "ruined because she was young and naive". I almost want to slap these heroins for their stupidity (at least from my point of view) you know you will be judged harshly. Why and why and why did she willingly allow it to happen? It isn't so bad that it happened either. I just can't really identify with women who do something that they know will come back to bite in their behinds but expect men to "do the right things". I think the second part is really what bothers me. She did it thinking that the guy had the intention to marry her. You do it because you want to, fine. Not because you think oh he will surely marry me. No he will not surely marry you. With that kind of expectation, the heroin suffers from her past mistakes and her story begins.
The hero was ok, not extremely memorable but not bad either.
