Rowan's Lady

Rowan's Lady - Suzan Tisdale the book started out very well for me. i am not so crazy about "loving your dead wife to death" kind of stories and "oh i love her because she loves my daughter" kind of stories, but i can live with that.

Somehow the book just did not establish the kind of connection with me that i need to rate a book more than 3 stars. Without going into too much detail, I will just say that I was not overly enthusiastic about reading the book. I flipped though some pages (especially the later parts). I was waiting for the story to come to some kind of a climax, which did not really arrive for me. I did not like or dislike any of the characters (no connections whatsoever). It was just a blah story for me.

I will say though, it is a good kind of blah story. There are stories that I thought was kind of mediocre and cannot finish them. This is not one of them. This is one of those stories that I thought, ah well, ok, not great but not awful.

I read the book in a set. The price was ok so I am not so disappointed. But had i shelled out 3 dollars for this book, I would not have been very happy.
